Our friends at UNISON University of Birmingham Branch are hosting a free screening of Made In Dagenham on Friday 17 August at 4.30 pm and everyone’s invited! Better still, they are laying on free pizza 🍕🍕🍕!
A fun film with an important message
Released in 2010, Made In Dagenham is a fun British film based on the Ford women car workers’ strike of 1968 and their contribution to the hugely important Equal Pay Act of 1970. Entry is free and everyone is welcome, whether you’re a union member or not, so please do come along and encourage your friends and colleagues to join you, too.
Even better, UNISON are generously laying on plenty of free pizza for everyone so that’s Friday night’s dinner taken care of.
Let UNISON know you’re coming
While the event is completely free, it would be helpful if you could let the organisers know that you’re planning to attend. This will help ensure they order plenty of pizza. If you’re on Facebook, you can do this by following the link below;
Made in Dagenham – free film screening and pizza
While you’re on Facebook, we’d really appreciate it if you could ‘Like’ our brand new Birmingham UCU Facebook Page. Doing so not only allows us to keep in touch, it also helps more colleagues discover and join UCU.
