Please note that the industrial action short of strike relating to the pensions dispute has been suspended as talks with the employers have re-started.

This means that we are no longer taking part in action short of strike – until further notice.

Note that this does not affect BUCU advice to opt for SDR meetings instead of PDR meetings – as PDR is still in its pilot year, we have negotiated with the University for SDR to remain an alternative to PDR during the pilot year.  BUCU will now seek to negotiate the terms of the proposed PDR scheme in line with the negotiating position adopted by the branch.
