Getting help

If you are experiencing problems at work, you can get in touch with your local department rep in the first instance. Your local department rep will work together with you to organise and collectivize the issue.

In some cases it will make sense for you and your local rep to get in touch with a committee member. Some of our UCU officers and committee members specialise in particular issues, such as anti-racism, anti-casualisation, disability, migrant status, and pensions. You can get in touch with any of your reps or officers.

Casework

If you need help with an individual issue or are unsure about who to contact in the first instance, please contact our casework email address (casework@birminghamucu.org). The email address is currently being monitored by the branch president and vice president.

When you contact the casework email address, it would help us if you can answer the questions in the form.
